The Things We Leave Unfinished
by Rebecca Yarros
Rebecca Yarros’s The Things We Leave Unfinished read like a formulaic soap opera, weighed down by familiar clichés and a storyline so predictable that its twists were apparent chapters in advance. The emotional intensity felt contrived rather than compelling, and by the end, I was left with the impression that the time spent reading it could have been better used elsewhere.
