What Rose Forgot

by Nevada Barr

A well-told story, with Rose and Mel shining as humorous, endearing, and sympathetic characters. The octogenarian heroine and her teenage sidekick made for an unexpected and delightful duo, bringing a refreshing dynamic to the narrative. However, some action sequences became overly detailed, with heavy imagery that made them difficult to follow at times.
