Under an Outlaw Moon
by Dietrich Kalteis
I found this book to be a decent Bonnie-and-Clyde-esque adventure, it was fast-paced, rebellious, and infused with the allure of reckless abandon. While it doesn’t reinvent the genre or deliver groundbreaking moments, it manages to hold its own as an entertaining read. The characters fit the familiar mold of outlaws on the run, with a strong girl-turned-bad-by-the-wrong-guy theme driving the narrative. There are moments of tension and intrigue, but the story never fully captivated or surprised me. Still, for anyone craving a crime-driven adventure with a nostalgic edge, it offers enough twists and momentum to keep the pages turning.
