Good Energy
by Casey Means, MD
Casey Means’s Good Energy is packed with rigorous science and genuinely useful strategies for optimizing your wellbeing but it stretches on far longer than it needs to, weighed down by a preachy, know-it-all tone that felt more like intellectual flex than friendly coaching and tips. While her credentials shine through, I winced at the unnecessary, judgmental Cheerio-bashing (what did they ever do to you, lady?), which made the book less approachable. I was looking for a concise, humble handbook but now crave a shorter, more grounded read.
