Autocorrect

by Etgar Keret

Etgar Keret’s Autocorrect is a masterclass in pacing. Short stories can sometimes feel either frustratingly brief or unnecessarily drawn out, but Keret handles each piece with precision. Whether it’s just a few pages or stretches to several dozen, every story finds its own rhythm which is refreshing, revealing, and never rushed. I appreciated his ability to balance brevity with depth, making the collection especially satisfying to read.
