Astrophysics for People in a Hurry

Neil deGrasse Tyson

Astrophysics for People in a Hurry is a compact, accessible introduction to some of the biggest questions about the universe, delivered in Neil deGrasse Tyson’s engaging style. Some of it went over my un-science head, but what I could understand was interesting and surprisingly sensible. Tyson does a good job of breaking down complex concepts without completely dumbing them down, and his enthusiasm for the subject is infectious. Although I’m hardly well-versed in physics or astronomy, I am curious, and glad I made the effort.
