Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret has always been one of my favorite coming-of-age books. I think every girl should read it. Even though it was written decades ago, it still feels incredibly real and relatable. Margaret’s struggles with growing up, friendships, and figuring out her beliefs mirror so many of the things I went through. Judy Blume writes with such honesty and warmth that her books stick with me after all this time.
