A Very Typical Family
by Sierra Godfrey
Family generally aren’t typical. Or normal. Neither is this one. The story balances humor with emotional depth as the main character, Natalie navigates complicated sibling relationships, long-buried guilt, and unexpected twists. The book even includes an intriguing marine biologist. Overall, it’s a compelling exploration of messy families and personal growth and it makes for an engaging and bittersweet read. I read this around the holidays and it made me feel better about my own life.
