The Midnight Library

I found The Midnight Library to be an interesting and quietly strange read in the best way—Matt Haig has a real gift for making the unusual feel completely believable. It took me a while to get into at the start, but once Nora Seed’s story gained momentum, everything began to click into place. I was surprised by how often I caught myself thinking about Nora even when I wasn’t reading, which says a lot about how effectively she’s drawn. It’s an odd, thoughtful concept, but grounded enough to feel meaningful, and by the end, I found myself appreciating both its heart and its understated, almost philosophical weirdness. Ultimately, it makes me wonder about the paths not taken in my own life.
